    Description

📊 Misinformation spreads 6x faster than the truth — but one conversation at a time, we can change that.

About Us The Pro-Truth Pledge (PTP) is a science-backed nonprofit dedicated to fighting misinformation and restoring integrity to public discourse. We mobilize everyday citizens to hold politicians, journalists, and media figures accountable to a set of evidence-based honesty behaviors — grounded in peer-reviewed behavioral science research. Our global volunteer network is the engine that powers this mission.

Position Summary As a Community Truth Advocate, you'll be a front-line ambassador for the PTP — meeting people where they are and inviting them to take a personal stand for truth. You'll represent PTP at public events, community gatherings, and local spaces, helping citizens understand why honesty in public life matters and how they can be part of the solution.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Attend local events, markets, and community spaces to share the Pro-Truth Pledge with the public
    • Assist community members in signing the pledge via tablet or mobile device
    • Distribute PTP educational materials and answer questions from curious passersby
    • Track and report signature counts and community feedback to the volunteer team

    Skills

    • Comfortable starting conversations with new people
    • Strong communication and active listening skills
    • Passion for civic integrity and community engagement
    • Reliable and self-motivated in independent settings

    Benefits

    • Make a direct, visible impact on your community's relationship with truth
    • Build public speaking and civic outreach experience
    • Join a passionate global network of truth advocates
