We are seeking an Applications & Platforms Manager to oversee, optimize, and scale the systems that power how our teams work.
Because technology isn’t just about having tools.
It’s about how they connect and perform together.
The Role
This role is responsible for managing the organization’s applications and platform ecosystem.
You will ensure systems are reliable, integrated, and aligned with organizational needs—supporting teams across operations, programs, and technology.
You are not just maintaining systems.
You are building a connected and scalable platform environment.
This role operates at the intersection of systems administration, platform management, and operational efficiency, ensuring technology supports growth and performance.
What You’ll Own
Applications & Platform Management
- Oversee day-to-day management of:
- Organizational tools
- Internal platforms
- SaaS applications
- Ensure systems are functional, reliable, and accessible
System Integration & Connectivity
- Ensure systems are connected and working together
- Identify and resolve integration gaps
- Support data flow across platforms
Platform Performance & Optimization
- Monitor application performance
- Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Optimize system usage and performance
User Experience & System Usability
- Ensure platforms are easy to use and support team workflows
- Gather feedback from users
- Improve system usability and adoption
Access & System Administration
- Manage user access and permissions
- Support onboarding/offboarding system setup
- Maintain system integrity and organization
Process Development & Standardization
- Build and improve processes for:
- System usage
- Platform management
- Access control
- Ensure consistency across systems
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with:
- IT Operations
- Engineering
- HR and Operations teams
- Ensure systems support organizational needs
Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Identify opportunities to:
- Automate workflows
- Reduce manual processes
- Improve efficiency across platforms
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain documentation for:
- Systems
- Processes
- Integrations
- Ensure knowledge is accessible
Security & Compliance Coordination
- Partner with Information Security to:
- Maintain secure configurations
- Ensure proper access controls
- Support compliance and risk mitigation
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve system performance
- Introduce new tools or enhancements
- Support scaling of platform infrastructure

Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in:
- Systems administration
- Application management
- Platform operations
- Experience working with:
- SaaS tools and platforms
- Strong understanding of:
- System workflows
- Platform integrations
Preferred
- Experience with:
- Google Workspace or similar platforms
- Automation tools or integrations
- Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations
- Experience in remote teams
Commitment
- 10–15 hours per week
- Flexible schedule (with cross-functional coordination)
- Participation in IT and platform discussions required
- Fully remote
