    Disaster Event Based Volunteer Training Coordinator

    Department - Volunteer Services - Volunteer Mobilization

    Location: Remote

    Make a real impact from wherever you are. As a Training Coordinator, you’ll help keep our disaster‑related training program running smoothly so volunteers nationwide can gain the skills they need to support communities in times of crisis.

    What You’ll Do

    • Review training requests, schedule sessions, and match instructors to courses.
    • Keep training records, evaluations, and calendars accurate and up to date.
    • Provide technical support for virtual training sessions.
    • Encourage instructors to log preparation time and ensure hours are captured correctly.
    • Be a go‑to resource for instructors and share concerns with your supervisor when needed.
    • Record volunteer hours in Volunteer Connection to highlight their impact.

    What You Bring

    • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
    • Experience with scheduling or coordinating activities.
    • A collaborative, inclusive approach to working with others.
    • Confidence using virtual platforms and offering basic tech support.
    • Flexibility and the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
    • Willingness to follow Red Cross and public health guidelines.
