    Description

    The IT Web Developer Specialist Intern participates in a structured, hands-on learning experience focused on advanced back-end workflows, server-side interactions, and custom database integrations. This role provides exposure to custom architecture configurations, system security practices, and automation script structures within a supervised and guided environment. Participants may engage at different levels within this role based on the program’s tiered structure (Foundational, Intermediate, Advanced), depending on prior experience, engagement, and program needs.

    Learning Focus Areas

    Participants in this role will gain exposure to:

    • Server interactions, database structures, and dynamic data delivery
    • API connectivity configurations and token security management
    • Performance testing systems and deployment pipeline tools
    • Web security compliance parameters and error monitoring setups

    Program Activities

    Participants may engage in:

    • Supporting the research and building of specialized plugin modules and web systems
    • Assisting with data script maintenance and workspace optimization tasks
    • Participating in engineering architecture and systemic problem-solving forums
    • Collaborating with team members on structured tasks
    • Communicating questions, observations, or feedback to program leadership

    Note: All activities are conducted within a supervised and guided learning environment.
