    Description

    The Secretary for Her Movement Inc. plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's administrative functions. This individual is responsible for supporting the mission of Her Movement Inc. by fostering effective communication, maintaining accurate records, and facilitating organizational activities.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Record-Keeping:

      • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of meetings, agendas, and minutes.

      • Ensure all records comply with legal and organizational requirements.

    2. Communication Management:

      • Serve as the liaison between the board members, staff, and external stakeholders.

      • Respond to correspondence and inquiries, providing timely and professional communication.

    3. Scheduling and Coordination:

      • Organize meetings, events, and workshops aimed at delivering the organization's programs (life skills, mental health awareness, etc.).

      • Maintain an updated calendar for organizational activities.

    4. Document Preparation:

      • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as needed to support initiatives like scholarship preparation and professional development.

    5. Administrative Support:

      • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing organizational resources.

      • Assist in maintaining the virtual and physical workspace conducive to adolescent engagement.

    6. Support Programs and Mission:

      • Collaborate with program leaders to ensure seamless delivery of services like coping skills, financial literacy, and substance abuse prevention.

      • Be a supportive presence for adolescents seeking a safe space to be heard.

    Qualifications:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

    • Proficiency in administrative software tools.

    • Passionate about supporting adolescents and contributing to their personal growth.
