Description
Our volunteers work one-on-one with unaccompanied migrant children to build meaningful connections and advocate for their rights and best interests. Basic volunteer requirements include:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Speak a language other than English Preference for Spanish and Central American Indigenous Languages
- Access to reliable transportation to attend meetings with the child
- Completion of all required background checks
We will be hosting in-person Volunteer Child Advocate training on September 26 & 27, 2026 in the following location(S): San Antonio, TX. If you anticipate being unable to attend an in-person training, we still encourage you to apply, as alternative training dates and formats may be available throughout the year.
