    Description

    Sanctuary Hospice is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Volunteers-like you!

    Our Volunteers provide companionship and socialization to patients along with respite for their loved ones during life's most challenging moments! Visit one-on-one, send greeting cards of encouragement, play music, engage patients in activities and other social settings or make check in phone calls with patients and families to provide virtual support. While our office is in Uniontown, we have patients who need you across the Northeast Ohio area...from Greater Akron, Canton, Massillon, Wooster and Medina.

    This is our administrative office location. Our patients are in skilled nursing facilities and assisted living centers throughout NE Ohio.

    How to Volunteer for This Opportunity

    Background checks, TB testing, on-line training, drug testing are all required for participation in the Sanctuary Hospices Volunteer Program. All requirements are provided FREE of charge to the Volunteer. No hands on medical assistance. No experience necessary- we will provide all the support and guidance
