    Description

    Become a longtime Program leader at POW! OT/ Adaptive PE/ PT for children of all abilities,Ages 3-16

    We are looking for Brooklyn based, settled individuals who would like to get (or are already ) trained by Special Olympics and then want to become one of our long term volunteers; POW! team leaders. (Basketball, Tennis, Swimming, Baseball, Dance,...)

    ADVANTAGE if you have a background in:

    + OT

    + Adaptive Physical Education

    +PT

    + Special Education

    + Aquaintance to BRAINPLASTICITY/ Processing triggering DEVELOPMENTAL MOVEMENTS

    You would coach our diverse, but incredibly fun-to-hang-out with, POW! community.

    For weekly programs, you should plan to have +2.5 hrs/ week available on the weekends, 10 AM- 12:30 PM. (we have wiggle room) Best if able to commit for long term to build up relationships with the kids.
