    WFD Professional Clothing Closet Operations Mgr. -Leadership Role

    The Professional Clothing Closet Operations Manager volunteer oversees the day-to-day operations of the Clothing Closet, ensuring smooth logistics, well-managed inventory, effective scheduling, and coordinated volunteer support to create a welcoming, efficient experience for all served.

    Instructions:

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate inventory of clothing, accessories, and supplies to ensure ongoing readiness.
    • Coordinate and oversee the setup, sorting, and restocking of donated items.
    • Schedule and manage volunteer shifts and student appointments efficiently.
    • Ensure the space remains clean, welcoming, and fully functional for all visitors.

    Expectations:

    • Maintain accurate timely records of donations and inventory to support efficient operations.
    • Communicate consistently and proactively with the Closet Chair and Reading Connections staff.
    • Model professionalism, respect, inclusivity in all interactions with volunteers and students

    Qualifications:

    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
    • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking, communication, and scheduling.
    • Leadership or management experience preferred, with ability to guide and support individuals in a collaborative environment.
