    Description

    Volunteer Youth Ambassador Program - Shoes for the Homeless

    We are a nonprofit organization supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. We are pleased to introduce our Volunteer Youth Ambassador service initiative, which provides students ages 13–18 with opportunities for meaningful volunteer service and leadership development.

    Our Volunteer Youth Ambassador Program offers students the opportunity to earn 23+ community service hours, develop leadership skills, strengthen their college applications and make a direct impact in their local communities by helping individuals experiencing homelessness. Our program is free, fully online and offered year-round. No experience is required.

    How to Volunteer for This Opportunity

    If students age 13-18 are interested, the first step is to have a parent/guardian contact us at losangeleshouseofruth.com/shoes-program. Once your parent/guardian has submitted your questionnaire, someone from our team will reach out to you and your parent/guardian to schedule a brief time to meet you and talk about the program on a short Zoom meeting. We look forward to meeting you!
