1st Saturday of the Month Opportunity for Students & Community in Historic Garden

Our volunteers maintain the display gardens of the California Nursery Historical Park Please join us to maintain the rose garden, the shade garden, the succulent garden, The Woods, the raised beds, and the grounds at the park for our loyal visitors.

We are located at Niles and Nursery Blvds. in the Niles section of Fremont. You will be weeding, mulching, raking and other seasonal tasks, weather permitting. All levels of gardening experience are welcome. Please wear comfortable clothing, including close-toed shoes, and bring water. We have gloves and tools to share, and we will train you! If you prefer, you may bring your own tools. There are water bottle refilling stations in the park. Meet at the shed near the yellow and blue windmill. Great community opportunity for High School student and adults.
