Description

August 2, 2026 from 7am - 1pm at Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park

Annual Triathlon starting and finishing at Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park. Events include swim, biking, running. Volunteers help in a wide variety of direct support roles:

Hill monitor

Swim chute monitor

Run course flaggers

Bike course flaggers

Food tent assistant

Must register as a volunteer with Lake Metroparks prior.

Directions

Take Rt. 2 to the Fairport Harbor/Richmond St. exit and go north to the light at the Richmond Street/Rt. 283 intersection. Proceed north for about .25 miles to High St. Follow High St. to the Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park entrance.

Once the application is submitted, Volunteer Services staff will contact you for a phone interview to discuss your placement and to go over the required volunteer materials that will need to be completed before your first volunteer date. Criminal background checks are mandatory for all Lake Metroparks volunteers 18 years of age or older.
