    Spring Cleanup in the Abbott Marshlands

    Join the Friends for the Abbott Marshlands and the AmeriCorps Watershed Ambassadors for an Abbott Marshlands Cleanup! The Abbott Marshlands is a unique freshwater tidal system which is unfortunately often a recipient of trash from tides and local drainage systems. Spend a morning helping to clean up this important ecosystem and recreational area.

    Enter the park at the Westcott Ave entrance and park in the first lot on your right. Wear layered clothing, long pants, closed-toed shoes (rain boots or waterproof hiking boots are great), and a water bottle. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Release form must be signed onsite before participation.
