    Approx. 2–5 hrs/week for 3 months. Flexible, mostly remote schedule with virtual check-ins. Option to extend. VA-based preferred but open to all U.S. volunteers.

    Volunteer Mentor – Empower Others Through Healing & Leadership

    IROCKMYSCARS is seeking compassionate, community-minded volunteers to serve as mentors to our interns. You’ll collaborate on projects that build resilience and promote trauma-informed practices through creative expression and outreach. Mentors guide interns in areas like fundraising, communications, social media, and community partnerships — helping them grow while expanding IROCKMYSCARS’s impact.

    Ideal Volunteers:

    • Have experience in nonprofit work, development, marketing, mental health advocacy, or community organizing.
    • Are passionate about helping others recover and lead after trauma.
    • Can commit to mentoring an intern for one semester (approx. 3 months).
    • Believe in inclusive, creative approaches to healing and empowerment.
