Description
The Department of Natural Resources ANeMoNe program is currently seeking volunteers to be Site Guardians for our monitoring sites located along the Puget Sound across Washington State.
Site guardians visit their monitoring site once every other week in the spring and summer and perform a quick bird survey, eelgrass survey, and check our water sensors for biofouling. Work is approximately two hours per visit. Site Guardians also have the opportunity to learn basic microscopy by identifying shellfish spat through a dissecting scope.
