    Description

The American Heart Association Washington is hosting THREE Heart and Stroke Walk events this year.

The Tacoma event will take place on September 19th at Cheney Stadium (2502 S Tyler Street, Tacoma) and we’re asking volunteers to commit to a 5-hour shift from 8:00am to 1:00pm. During this time, you may be assigned to help with setup, route guidance, walker support, tear down, or other similar roles that help make the event a success. If you have additional availability, we’re also looking for a few volunteers to support us for an hour before or after the event.

If you’re interested in volunteering, please complete our Volunteer Interest Form and Waiver or contact Puget.Sound@heart.org.

The Washington Heart and Stroke Walk is a fun, family‑friendly event that brings our community together to get active, raise lifesaving funds and support the mission of the American Heart Association. These events help expand CPR education, strengthen bystander readiness, fuel critical research and ultimately save lives.
