    Description

Music Program at AHRC-NYC Adult Day Centers

Looking for musically inclined Community Partners to volunteer 1-2 hours per week and facilitate a Music Program for the people we support at one of AHRC-NYC's Adult Day Centers throughout Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and The Bronx. We are open to your creativity. It can be a sing-a-long (accompanied by music on your guitar or keyboard), can be instructional, we leave the content up to you to decide after you meet the group.

AHRC-NYC, a chapter of The Arc is one of New York's largest advocate agencies for people with Intellectual, Developmental, and other disabilities.

Our Vision: A socially just world where the power of difference is embraced, valued and celebrated.

Our Mission: Advocate for people with Intellectual, Developmental, and other disabilities to lead full and equitable lives.
