    Volunteer Position: Founder Story & Memoir Development Volunteer

    Organization: LoopRoots Foundation

    Location: Remote

    Commitment: 5–10 Hours Per Week

    About LoopRoots Foundation

    LoopRoots Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping justice-impacted individuals, families, and vulnerable community members through transportation assistance, workforce development, housing stabilization, food access, technology access, wellness support, and reentry services.

    Position Overview

    LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a volunteer writer, journalist, editor, author, communications professional, or storytelling enthusiast to assist our Founder and Executive Director with developing a personal memoir and founder story. This project will document the experiences, challenges, lessons, and journey that led to the creation of LoopRoots Foundation and its mission to serve individuals facing barriers to stability and opportunity.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct virtual interviews with the Founder
    • Organize stories, notes, and recorded conversations
    • Develop chapter outlines and book structure
    • Assist with writing, editing, and manuscript development
    • Help transform personal experiences into a compelling narrative
    • Support the development of future speaking, fundraising, and storytelling materials
    • Collaborate on publication and distribution strategies if desired

    Desired Qualifications

    • Strong writing and editing skills
    • Experience with storytelling, journalism, memoir writing, ghostwriting, communications, or content creation
    • Ability to conduct interviews and organize information
    • Interest in nonprofit leadership, social impact, entrepreneurship, or personal development
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
