    About the Role

    The Finance Staff coordinator supports and assists in enforcing the financial management and standards for Restoring Our Youth Organization organization , ensuring transparency and compliance with nonprofit standards.This role is critical for maintaining financial integrity and supporting organizational sustainability.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Assist in monitoring budgets and expenditures.
    • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for the CFO when needed.

    Coordinate compliance with financial policies and procedures.

    • Assist with annual audits and tax filings as needed.
    • Advise on financial planning and sustainability.

    What You Bring to the Role

    • Knowledge of basic accounting and nonprofit finance.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (or willing to learn).
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity.
    • Must prioritize tasks and work independently in the absence of supervision.
    • Possess excellent crisis/conflict management skills and/or willing to learn.
    • Operate a computer to enter necessary data on the behalf of the ROY organization. (*When assigned to do so)
    • Desire to learn and grow professionally in the field of non-profit
    • Demonstrates leadership skills
    • Engaging/responsive, and proactive communication
    • Proficient in Google Suite and open to learning new tools.
    • Adaptable, collaborative, and self-motivated
    • Establish and maintain highly professional effective working relationships with senior management, and other appointed officials, including staff, community and business leaders, donors, board members, and others encountered in the course of work
    • Use a high degree of tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive situations and concerned groups and/or individuals
    • Must be in agreement with and committed to upholding R.O.Y Organization’s Motto Statement, and Statement of Values, as well as its stated Mission and Vision
