Each Drive Saves Lives. Become a Blood Transportation Specialist for the Red Cross!

We're searching for individuals who know the Greater Salt Lake Area well and have time to dedicate to navigate blood around to different locations. Whether you're a stay-at-home parent looking for more community involvement, retired and looking for a pasttime, or you just want to take time out of your day to help, your services are welcome.

As a volunteer driver, you're not just delivering blood. You deliver the promise of hope and life. Schedule shifts voluntarily or on demand, and make urgent deliveries of blood, platelets, and critical supplies to hospitals. Every trip saves lives!

Our Transportation Specialist save lives every time they volunteer by picking up blood from donation centers and blood drives and delivering it to the hospitals where patients are waiting for it to save their life!!

This volunteer opportunity gives you the flexibility to choose shifts that work with in your other activities and is a low-key , laid back position that allows you to be a part of something bigger than yourself and help others receive the life-saving blood that they need. With our brand new transportation specialist Red Cross app, scheduling your shifts in advance or picking up an on-demand shift at the last minute makes it easier than ever to volunteer when you have the time!

This is also a volunteer role that you can do with a friend, so two of you can cruise around town in our Red Cross vehicle while delivering life-saving resources.
