Support a safe, respectful, and well-functioning community environment.
Moderation in AFK Cafe is multi-faceted, and moderators may contribute in different areas depending on interest and fit.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Monitor chats and interactions
- Enforce community guidelines
- Address inappropriate behavior
- Support overall community safety
🔹 Types of Moderators
Within this role, you may be placed into one or more areas:
- General Moderators — Support day-to-day chat moderation and community safety
- Event / Game Moderators — Support events, activities, and game spaces
- Stream Moderators — Moderate live chats during streams and support stream hosts
Placement is based on your interests, strengths, and availability.

💬 Communication & Responsiveness
AFK Cafe is a collaborative, remote community — communication is essential.
You are expected to:
- Respond when active or on duty
- Communicate clearly with other moderators
- Follow through on moderation actions
Moderation requires reliability and timely responses, especially during active situations.
🌿 Growth Structure
Start as a moderator → grow into senior moderator, event moderation lead, or safety roles.
