#911 Clark Park Coalition

Clark Park Coalition will host a 9/11 National Day of Service project on September 12, 2026, mobilizing volunteers to prepare Clark Park for the fall and winter seasons. Volunteers will clean up debris and overgrowth left from the summer, complete general grounds maintenance, and prepare the park's outdoor ice rink for the upcoming skating season. Activities will include litter and debris removal, raking and clearing leaves, trimming overgrown landscaping, organizing and inspecting rink equipment ahead of resurfacing, cleaning and sanitizing the recreation center, and general facility upkeep across the park grounds. These efforts will ensure Clark Park remains safe, clean, and ready to serve the thousands of Southwest Detroit residents who use it for recreation and community programming throughout the fall and winter.
