Visual Architect of Solarpunk Aesthetics: Logo & Brand Designer
Details
Description
The Solarpunk Sanctuary is a reimagined sanctuary rooted in three core commitments: nurturing people, practicing deep community care, and regenerating the planet. We exist to protect, seed, and freely share low-tech resilience tools and earth stewardship guides-creating practical, ad-free blueprints for community self-reliance. (Read our full ethos and vision at [The Solarpunk Sanctuary]).
The Vibe
You are translating our philosophy into a visual identity. Solarpunk isn't just shiny green tech- it’s warmth, community resilience, low-tech ingenuity, and harmony with natural systems. We need a clean, grounded visual anchor that gives our open-source platforms, digital site, and official ordination certificates immediate legitimacy and heart.
What You'll Do
- Design the Primary Logo: Create a clean, versatile logo that works across website headers, social icons, and print (in both full color and monochrome/single-ink formats).
- Create the Sanctuary Seal/Crest: Design an official seal or emblem to sit on automated Ordination Certificates and formal sanctuary documents.
- Establish a Mini Brand Palette: Select 3–5 core colors and 1–2 accessible font pairings that reflect earth stewardship, open source, and solarpunk optimism.
- Deliver Modular Assets: Provide raw/vector asset files (SVG, PNG, EPS) ready for our web developers and syllabus curators to plug directly into the site.
Who You Are
- A graphic designer, illustrator, or visual storyteller with a portfolio showing strong branding or logo design skills.
- Someone who appreciates solarpunk, permaculture, or nature-inspired aesthetics over generic corporate minimalism.
- Looking for a discrete, project-based sprint with clear deliverables and total creative ownership within our core ethos.
