    Hospice Pet Therapy Volunteer - BENSALEM, PA AREA

    AMEDISYS HOSPICE OF GREATER PHILADELPHIA SERVES BENSALEM, PA, AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. BEING A COMPANIONSHIP VOLUNTEER FOR OUR PATIENTS IS A WONDERFULLY FULFILLING OPPORTUNITY. OUR PATIENTS ARE LOCATED IN HOMES AND FACILITIES IN CHESTER AND MONTGOMERY COUNTIES.

    Amedisys Hospice gives patients who are facing a life-limiting illness the freedom to live ALL the days of their lives by offering comfort, dignity, and quality of life. If you have a passion for caring for others and are looking for a way to make a difference in people’s lives, consider becoming a hospice volunteer. We are currently looking for volunteers for the following:

    • THIS REQUEST IS FOR PET THERAPY VOLUNTEERS TO VISIT PATIENTS AT END-OF-LIFE AND THEIR FAMILIES. IF YOU HAVE A CERTIFIED THERAPY PET AND WOULD LIKE TO BRING ENCOURAGEMENT TO OUR PATIENTS VIA 1:1 VISITS, PLEASE REACH OUT! IF YOU HAVE A PET BUT YOU ARE NOT CERTIFIED YET, ALSO CONTACT US AND WE CAN GUIDE YOU TO LOCAL CERTIFICATION AGENCIES.
