    Commitment Details:
    1 patient 1 hour per week minimum but can do more. You can request more patients if you would like but 1 patient to visit 1x per week is fairly standard. We match to a Patient who is within 15 minutes of where you live.

    Patient Volunteer

    Part of a Patient’s Care Team. You will make weekly visits to offer companionship for Patients. Examples of Patient care Volunteer opportunities include reading to the Patient, assisting with a hobby, conversation, listening to music or even watching a TV show together.

    Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to enter facilities & visit your Hospice Patient.

    Volunteers are matched with 1 Patient at a time to someone within a 15-minute radius to where you live.

    Requirements:

    • Must be able to commit to Volunteer for one year @ 1 x per week for up to 1 hour minimum.
    • No resume needed but an excellent skill and resume builder.
    • Volunteer Coordinator always goes along with you on your 1 st Patient visit.
