About Project DNA

Project DNA is a community wellness organization focused on supporting youth and communities through healing-centered, culturally responsive programming. Our work includes restorative circles, social-emotional learning (SEL), and creative outlets like music and storytelling to help young people build identity, resilience, and connection.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a creative and thoughtful volunteer to support us with branding and visual identity. This is an opportunity to help shape how our organization presents itself to the community, partners, and funders. The scope can be flexible — whether you prefer a clearly defined project or light ongoing collaboration.

What You’ll Work On

• Developing or refining Project DNA’s visual identity
• Creating a cohesive branding kit (colors, fonts, logo usage, etc.)
• Supporting website redesign direction (layout, visuals, user experience)
• Designing templates for social media, presentations, and outreach materials
• Helping ensure our branding reflects our mission, values, and community impact

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in graphic design, branding, or visual communications
• Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar
• Ability to translate mission-driven work into thoughtful, engaging visuals
• Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively
• Interest in community wellness, youth development, or social impact work

Commitment & Flexibility

We understand that volunteers have varying availability. This role can be:

• A short-term project (e.g., branding kit + initial assets), or
• A flexible, ongoing collaboration if you’re interested

We are happy to define scope and timeline together based on your availability.
