    Now Hiring: Grant Writer for The Grandparents Community Network (TGCN)

    Are you a skilled grant writer with a passion for advocating for marginalized communities? Do you have a track record of securing grants up to $250,000 and a commitment to seeing impactful programs thrive? The Grandparents Community Network (TGCN) is seeking an experienced Grant Writer to help secure vital funding for our programs that support grandparents raising grandchildren.

    About TGCN:

    TGCN is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to uplifting and empowering grandparents raising grandchildren. We provide advocacy, resources, and community-driven initiatives to ensure no grandfamily feels alone. Our mission is to create lasting change for marginalized communities through education, support, and empowerment.

    Position Overview:

    We are looking for a seasoned grant writer to research, write, and submit at least four grants per month to secure funding for TGCN’s programs. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, deadline-driven, and passionate about supporting underserved populations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research, write, and submit compelling grant proposals for foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
    • Meet or exceed the goal of submitting four grants per month.
    • Identify and pursue new funding opportunities that align with TGCN’s mission.
    • Maintain an organized grant calendar to track deadlines and submissions.
    • Work collaboratively with TGCN’s leadership to ensure proposals align with program goals.
    • Serve as a spokesperson and champion for TGCN’s mission when engaging with funders.
    • Ensure compliance with all grant requirements, reporting, and follow-up.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Proven experience securing grants up to $1M.
    • Strong research, writing, and editing skills with a history of successful grant awards.
    • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
    • Strong commitment to follow-through and accountability.
    • Passion for advocating for marginalized communities and grandfamilies.
    • Understanding of nonprofit funding, community-based programs, and faith-based initiatives.
    • Must be willing to work on an hourly basis with quarterly bonuses based on performance.
    • Must agree to a non-compete agreement and not-to-exceed contract terms.
