Volunteers are needed to work with students at many of the Cuyahoga County Library branches to work with them to improve their reading skills or provide overall academic support.
assistance with their homework, or for reading and educational activities. Centers are open Monday-Thursday and offer two sessions, 4-5:15 p.m. and 5:15-630 p.m. at Bedford, Brook Park, Brooklyn, Garfield Hts., Maple Hts., North Olmsted, Parma, Richmond Hts.,South Euclid, and Warrensville Hts.
Grade Reading Guarantee. In-person volunteers will work one-on-one and in small groups with children on
various learning activities, utilizing a variety of tools. Virtual volunteers will log-in for one or two 30-minute
sessions to work one-on-one with an assigned student through the TutorMate platform. 123 Read will take place in-person from 5:00-6:45 p.m. at the following branches:
Bedford- Monday/Wednesday Garfield Heights- Tuesday/Thursday Maple Heights Tuesday/Thursday North Olmsted- Monday/Thursday Parma- Tuesday/Wednesday South Euclid Tuesday/Thursday Warrensville Heights- Monday/Thursday. Virtual volunteers will start their 30-minute session at 5:45 and/or 6:15 p.m.
