    Description

    Grant Writer Volunteer

    Applicants must reside within the United States or its territories. Applications who are residents outside of the United States are not considered.

    QRFup is a nonprofit organization dedicated to veteran and first responder crisis and suicide prevention. We are seeking a Volunteer Grant Writer to help secure funding that supports our critical mission. This role involves researching grant opportunities, writing compelling proposals, and ensuring successful submissions to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

    Location:

    • Virtual, home-based.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Research and identify grant opportunities from government, non-government and private benefactors.
    • Write clear, persuasive, and well-structured grant proposals and funding applications.
    • Gather necessary documentation, data, and impact stories to strengthen grant submissions.
    • Collaborate with our team to understand funding needs for programs, crisis response initiatives, and outreach efforts.
    • Track grant application deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
    • Assist in reporting grant outcomes and demonstrating impact to funders.
    • Manage paperwork required by Grant organization to maintain qualifications supported by the QRFup's controller.

    Qualifications:

    • Professional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to research and articulate complex information effectively to win grant.
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Passion for supporting veterans, first responders, and suicide prevention efforts.
