Position Summary:
As a part of our goal to serve and support mental health causes, we are looking for a leader to help us create our strategy and serve as a key relationship builder to help connect our solution to communities and groups. A key aspect of this role will be helping and working alongside the Board Treasurer and the President writing and drafting critical documents, applications for grants, fundraising and identifying areas of opportunity to expand our footprint. This remote position requires a creative and strategic thinker who can help increase the nonprofit’s visibility, engage supporters, and promote the organization’s mission to a wider audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Support
Develop meaningful connections with organizations, acting as a bridge builder bringing like minded communities together to further mental health improvement for all
Draft press releases, newsletters, and email campaigns to communicate key updates and events to the public and stakeholders.
Fundraising and Campaign Promotion
Support the promotion of fundraising campaigns and events through targeted marketing efforts.
Collaborate with the development team to create marketing materials that inspire donations and sponsorships.
Analytics and Reporting
Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and digital content.
Provide regular reports to the Executive Director and Board, recommending adjustments to improve marketing outcomes.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector or in remote sales. Although if you have no experience at all, please apply, we are interested in working with those who want to develop skills, build their resumes and gain expertise regardless of your level of experience.
Proven experience in partnership development, sales planning, and fundraising is a plus.
Skills:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong relationship-building abilities, particularly in a remote environment.
Proficiency in using CRM tools, sales tracking platforms, and online collaboration tools.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
