    Description

Horse Groom . Horse Trainer . Horse Exercise

Love Horses? GREAT!! So do we!! Come volunteer with the Furvivors!

Donate your time to help care for the horses and farm animals in rehab at the Wonderland. If only a few hours weekly, or monthly, it will make a world of difference to the abused, neglected and abandoned souls we are rehabilitating towards their best life.

There are many things volunteers can do for the animals. We find that a lot of our residents have been shorted the necessary human contact, love and affection they so deserve. This is where our volunteers are so needed.

We are currently in need of specific boots-on-the-ground positions at the farm. We know it's difficult to commit to regular shifts and while we are a very flexible team, we would love to eventually work out a regular shift.

The Furvivors are in great need of:

Grooms - no experience, no problem. We can train like-minded individuals to groom our babies.

Riders - Evaluators - Horse Experience preferred. Help us evaluate new residents, once they are ready to understand their riding capabilities. And, offer them refresher courses and light work as needed, working closely with the on board Trainer. (this position could be fulfilled by the trainer/exerciser as one role)

Trainers - Exercisers - Horse Experience preferred for the obvious reasons. Once we evaluate our residents, we would like to work on very light training and exercise. This will be part of the rehabilitation program.

Only a desire to help nurture the resident 'Furvivors' to the next chapter of their best life is needed.

    Be here for them!

Our farm volunteers are hands-on. We ask that you be responsible, reliable, committed and 18 years old. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. (trainers, riders must be 18)
