    Description

    Job Developer: Under direction, establishes and maintains activities to

    develop, locate and secure jobs openings for students and adults in Regional

    Occupation Programs, Workability and other related programs; markets

    programs and coordinates job resource bank. Performs related duties as

    assigned, also included the following:

    Business Manager/Job Developer: Duties and responsibilities: sell the program to different schools, corporations, big businesses, foundations and the Medias. Reach out to meet with legislatures in Lansing and the Detroit City Councils for the purpose to meet the need of this special population... The business manager will instruct students in sales, design and productions. This person will also develop ways to sell my non-profit organization which will bring to our region small groups of specialists, scientists, legislators, educators, and artists, to work on specific world problems and interests . This person must have a bachelor degree and three years of business/social work background. Must have excellent communicating skills, know how to set goal, develop outcomes for program. Must be knowledge and understand the African Americans struggling and the cost of being poor here in the City of Detroit. Must know how to facilitate Partner Meetings, prepare and distribute minutes from meeting, follow up with all parties to assure the project is moving forward, providing guidance to School's Staff and all parties involve in making ILH dream come true. Must be willing to work with staff and people who are different in education, status... This is a volunteer position could become a paid position as early as December 2018. ILH is seeking planning grant therefore this person may be paid for all of her/his time. This person will report to the Executive Director.
