    Description

    The Church of Defenses is seeking highly skilled, mission-driven professionals to join our growing volunteer team. We are building a strong operational foundation to expand our outreach, serve our community, and develop sustainable programs—and we need experienced leaders to help make that happen.

    This is an opportunity to use your professional expertise to create real, measurable impact within a purpose-driven, faith-based organization.

    We are specifically looking for volunteers with experience in:

    • Event Planning & Coordination – Plan, organize, and execute community events, fundraisers, and outreach initiatives
    • Grant Writing & Research – Identify funding opportunities, write compelling grant proposals, and support funding strategy
    • Administrative Support & Operations – Assist with systems, scheduling, communications, documentation, and organizational structure

    What You’ll Do

    • Collaborate directly with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives
    • Bring structure, organization, and professional insight to a growing nonprofit
    • Help plan impactful events that engage and serve the community
    • Research and secure funding through grants and partnerships
    • Improve internal processes to support long-term growth

    Who We’re Looking For

    • Professionals or experienced volunteers in nonprofit management, administration, event planning, or grant writing
    • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
    • Self-motivated individuals who can work independently and collaboratively
