    Volunteer Website Developer for Girls’ Empowerment NGO – Ghana

    Reproductive Advocate Health Education Ghana (RAHE Ghana) is a community-based non-profit organization that aims to promote and improve menstrual health education, girls’ empowerment, and reproductive health service delivery in underserved communities in Ghana.

    We are currently looking to hire a talented and passionate Volunteer Website Developer to assist us in creating a brand new professional website. Our current website was created using a free website builder with limited capabilities, and we are now ready to move to a more secure, modern, and easy-to-use platform that will showcase our impact and mission.

    Key Responsibilities

    Provide recommendations on the most suitable website platform for building our website

    Develop a clean and professional website design

    Develop and design basic pages such as Home, About Us, Programs, Impact, Volunteer, Donate, and Contact

    Enhance and improve content display and storytelling

    Enhance basic SEO settings

    Develop a website that is easily updatable by our team

    Provide basic training or guidance on how to use the website for our team

    Qualifications

    Experience in website design and development

    Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS), preferably WordPress

    Understanding of user experience/user interface design principles

    Knowledge of branding in the non-profit/social impact space is a plus

    Good communication skills

    Ability to work independently and meet set timelines

    Time Commitment

    Flexible, remote work. Estimated time commitment: 5-10 hours per week, 4-8 weeks (dependent on project scope and your availability).
