Volunteer as a Registered Nurse in Ukraine

Since 2022, Global Care Force has deployed recurring mobile medical teams to communities across southern Ukraine where conflict has disrupted access to essential healthcare services.

Unlike many humanitarian organizations that make a single visit, our teams return to the same communities month after month, building trusted relationships with patients and local healthcare providers while delivering consistent, compassionate care.

We are currently recruiting registered nurses to join our multidisciplinary volunteer teams and help provide primary healthcare, patient education, triage support, and compassionate care to individuals and families affected by war.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient triage, assessment, and clinic flow.
• Support physicians and advanced practice providers during patient care.
• Provide patient education, medication guidance, and follow-up instructions.
• Help ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient clinic operations.
• Participate in required pre-deployment orientation and follow Global Care Force policies and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Nursing education, training, or professional experience appropriate for the role.
• Experience in primary care, emergency, community, or humanitarian settings is helpful but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural team.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a servant-hearted approach to humanitarian service.
• Ability to participate in an international deployment of approximately two weeks.
