    Direct Reports: Program Coordinators (College & Career, Mentor, Empowerment, Cotillion), Program Director Assistant

    Position Summary

    The Program Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing all Pretty With Purpose, Inc. programs, ensuring their successful implementation and alignment with organizational objectives. As the lead of the Programs Division, you will ensure consistency, quality, and outcomes across all four signature programs: College & Career Prep, Mentoring One-on-One, Empowerment/Monthly Activities, and the Diamonds of Prosperity Cotillion.

    This role operates within the MOCHA framework as the Manager (M) of program execution and the Owner (O) of program outcomes, reporting directly to the Executive Committee.

    Key Responsibilities

    Program Oversight & Strategy

    • Management: Manage and oversee all PWP programs, providing leadership, guidance, and addressing any deficiencies or gaps in resources.
    • Goal Setting: Establish and uphold clear goals and standards for each program to foster continuous improvement and success.
    • Evaluation: Conduct program evaluations and collect feedback to assess the impact and effectiveness of all initiatives.
    • Partnerships: Cultivate partnerships to fulfill program needs and address gaps in resources or support.

    Team Leadership & Governance

    • Supervision: Serve as the primary point of contact for all Program Coordinators/Officers, addressing questions and concerns.
    • Meetings: Hold monthly meetings with Program Leads/Directors and quarterly (or as needed) meetings with the entire program team to ensure alignment.
    • Training: Collaborate with the Assistant Director to provide comprehensive training for program staff, board members, and volunteers as needed.
    • Org Chart: Maintain and update the organization chart to accurately reflect program structures and responsibilities.

    Reporting & Administration

    • Data Collection: Collect monthly board reports from Program Officers by the 25th of each month.
    • Executive Reporting: Compile and send final reports to the President, VP, and Secretary by the 1st of each month.
    • Board Presentation: Lead the review of program officers' reports during the first board meeting of each month.

    Fundraising & Events

    • Gala Coordination: Coordinate the hosting of the End-of-Year Gala, collaborating with the Event and Logistics Director to ensure a memorable event for partners, schools, sponsors, and mentees.
    • Resource Development: Coordinate fundraising efforts, sponsorships, and partnerships specifically to secure resources for each program.
    • Budget Support: Actively raise funds to support the program budget through strategic fundraising initiatives.

    Outcomes & KPIs

    • Reporting Compliance: 100% of monthly program reports collected by the 25th and submitted to the Executive Team by the 1st.
    • Program Success: Successful execution of all four signature programs with measurable impact data (attendance, student feedback).
    • Financial Sustainability: Secure funding/sponsorships sufficient to meet the essential needs of all assigned programs.
    • Event Execution: Successful delivery of the End-of-Year Gala in collaboration with the Events team.

    Qualifications

    • Experience: Previous experience in program management, nonprofit leadership, or educational administration is highly preferred.
    • Leadership: Strong ability to manage diverse teams, delegate tasks, and hold staff accountable.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report compilation and board presentations.
    • Organization: Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple program timelines simultaneously.
    • Commitment: Must be committed to the mission of empowering young women and available for monthly board meetings and regular committee check-ins.

    Expectations & Commitment

    • Board Service: As a Board Director, you are expected to attend monthly Board meetings and the annual meeting.
    • Time Commitment: Estimated 10–15 hours per month, including board meetings, staff supervision, and event coordination.
    • Confidentiality: Must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) regarding sensitive organizational and participant information.
    • Policy Adherence: Must adhere to the Conflict of Interest policy and all PWP Bylaws.
