    International Child Sponsorship Manager (Unpaid Role)

    The International Child Sponsorship Manager is a remote volunteer role responsible for supporting the development and growth of CHILDHOPE-ZAMBA’s child sponsorship program. This position plays a key role in connecting vulnerable children in Zambia with compassionate sponsors globally, helping improve access to education, care, protection and other services.

    The volunteer will lead efforts to identify and engage potential sponsors through digital outreach, social media, personal networks, and community connections. They will help establish and manage a sponsorship platform or communication channel to showcase children in need and ensure ongoing engagement through updates, storytelling, and progress reports.

    Key responsibilities include recruiting and retaining sponsors, maintaining accurate records of sponsored children and contributions, and working closely with the CHILDHOPE-ZAMBA team to track child progress and ensure transparency. The role also involves creating communication materials such as child profiles, newsletters, and social media content to strengthen donor relationships and program visibility.

    Applicants should have a strong passion for child welfare, education, and community development, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment. Basic digital skills are essential, and experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit work is an added advantage.

    This is an unpaid, flexible volunteer opportunity (approximately 5–10 hours per week) offering valuable experience in international nonprofit work, fundraising, and program management. Volunteers will gain leadership experience while contributing to a meaningful and impactful global initiative. "Volunteers can submit their interest directly through Idealist.
