    Description

    The Social Media Associate is responsible for managing the organization's social media presence by creating engaging content, growing online communities, and increasing brand visibility. This role supports the execution of digital marketing and communication strategies that promote the organization's programs, events, and impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop, create, and schedule engaging content across the organization's social media platforms.
    • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting, monitoring, and responding to comments and messages.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to create content that highlights programs, events, and success stories.
    • Capture and edit photos, videos, and graphics for social media campaigns.
    • Monitor social media trends and recommend creative ideas to improve engagement and reach.
    • Track and analyze social media performance, providing regular reports and recommendations.
    • Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital platforms.
    • Support the planning and execution of digital campaigns, events, and online community initiatives.
    • Stay informed about emerging social media tools, features, and best practices.

    Qualifications

    • Have a background in marketing, communications, media, digital marketing, or a related field.
    • Experience managing social media accounts for an organization, business, or personal brand.
    • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
    • Basic knowledge of content creation, graphic design, and video editing tools.
    • Familiarity with social media management and analytics platforms.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

    Preferred Skills

    • Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools.
    • Strong photography and videography skills.
    • Understanding of social media analytics and content performance.
    • Creative thinking with a keen eye for trends and audience engagement.
    • Passion for youth development, storytelling, and social impact.
