About the 3D CEB Foundation

The 3D CEB Foundation is a growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving 3rd Combat Engineer Battalion veterans, combat veterans, their families, and Guardian families.

Our mission is connection. We work to make sure veterans and their families have access to meaningful support, resources, employment opportunities, mental health connections, emergency assistance, community, and the people they can turn to when they need someone in their corner.

We are currently building out our Board of Directors and are looking for people who want to do more than attend meetings. We are looking for people who want to help build something.

About the Opportunity

This is a working board position. Board members are expected to actively participate, communicate consistently, contribute their professional skills, and help move the Foundation's programs and mission forward.

We are particularly interested in individuals with professional experience in:

• Human Resources
• Marketing & Communications
• Fundraising & Development
• Grant Writing
• Business Management
• Finance or Accounting
• Employment & Workforce Development
• Community Outreach
• Mental Health or Peer Support
• Nonprofit Leadership

You do not need to be a veteran to serve on our board. We value people who bring professional expertise, community connections, a willingness to serve, and a genuine commitment to veterans and their families.

What Board Members May Help With

Depending on your experience and interests, board members may contribute to:

• Developing and expanding veteran support programs
• Building relationships with businesses and community organizations
• Developing corporate sponsorships and fundraising opportunities
• Connecting veterans with employment resources
• Strengthening organizational policies and infrastructure
• Supporting outreach and communications
• Helping develop peer-support and family programs
• Identifying grants and other funding opportunities
• Participating in Foundation events and community outreach
• Helping the organization grow sustainably

• Are willing to participate between board meetings
• Can work collaboratively with a small, growing organization

We are intentionally building a board where people bring something to the table and use their skills, rather than simply holding a title.

Commitment

This is a volunteer, unpaid Board of Directors position. Candidates should be prepared for active participation and ongoing communication, not simply periodic attendance at meetings.

Candidates will be asked to submit an application and participate in an interview as part of the selection process.
