    Engagement: 6-Month Strategic Partnership

The Challenge Every High-Potential Youth Faces

Too many youth with raw ambition hit a wall simply because the school system around them never provided practical tools, real-world mentors, or the pathways to realize their full capabilities. They are ready to build a life of purpose, but the access points and system are broken.

At the JakeyMac Foundation, we are engineering the solution. Through gamified audiobooks with leaderboards using earbuds and outdoors to deliver youth education, applied skills, and community-backed initiatives, we equip emerging talent with the critical life skills needed to navigate real-world success. results based outcome driven courses include -> leadership, financial and emotional IQ, communication, work ethic, AI safety, youth exploitation prevention for Moms & Teens, and 100+ more titles.

We built the operational engine, have a dynamic youth leader for a one of a kind program and established the mission to revolutionize education to meet today's landscape. Now, we are ready to scale our footprint—and we need the right strategic partner to bring our voice to the wider world.

Where You Step In: The Strategic Guide

If you are an exceptional communicator, you already know the real problem with 90% of non-profit messaging: it drowns in operational noise, lacks a single sharp hook, and wastes energy shouting into the digital void.

We are not looking for someone to crank out generic text updates or babysit social feeds.

We are looking for a seasoned PR strategist to serve as our trusted external architect.

This is a pure Architect/Leverage role. You build the foundational media methodology and we support you with an AI powered PR engine once—the narrative pillars, the press kit, the high-credibility media list are created. We have lots started but not complete. Your role is to operate the system at high leverage with just a few concentrated hours each week refining the process to identify the best opportunities.

You are the guide who positions the community and the kids we serve as the heroes of this journey.

The Blueprint: What You Will Architect

    • Phase 1: Build the Leverage Engine (Weeks 1–6 | 7–10 hrs/week)
      • StoryBrand Message Architecture: Clarify our narrative so any reporter, civic leader, or high-level benefactor instantly grasps our mission in 10 seconds.
      • Media Command Center: Construct our core press kit, leadership bios, institutional boilerplates, and modular pitch angles.
      • High-Leverage Media Targets: Map out national and local Tampa Bay/St. Pete media contacts, business journals, specific editors, and non-profit feature writers.
    • Phase 2: Execution & Strategic Placements (Ongoing | 4–5 hrs/week)
      • Earned Media Placements: Pitch strategic stories around key program launches, educational milestones, and community partnerships.
      • Executive Positioning: Spot opportunities for op-eds, civic panels, and leadership guest columns to establish the foundation as the standard in youth empowerment.
      • High-Level Advisory: Serve as an executive sounding board on media relations and institutional narrative.

    Who You Are

    • Proven Communications Acumen: You have a background in PR, corporate communications, or investigative journalism, and you understand what editors actually print.
    • Master of Story: You know that clear beats clever every day of the week. You naturally apply narrative tension, clear character stakes, and crisp resolutions to make stories sing.
    • Systems Thinker: You abhor wasted effort. You prefer building repeatable pitch workflows and solid relationships over scattershot, spray-and-pray outreach.
    • Passionate About Generational Impact: You want your domain expertise to deliver direct, tangible results for young people who need an authentic leg up.

    The Return on Your Investment

    • Complete Creative Autonomy: No red tape, no endless committees. You collaborate directly with visionary leadership who welcome decisive domain expertise.
    • A Signature Portfolio Asset: Lead the ground-floor communications rollout of a rapidly growing 501(c)(3) from zero to regional prominence.
    • High-Impact Stewardship: Your strategic narrative directly mobilizes community backing, opening doors for youth whose lives will be fundamentally altered for the better.
    • Executive Network: Direct board access, leadership recommendations, and high-visibility positioning across the regional philanthropic landscape.

    How to Connect

We respect your time. Skip the traditional cover letter. Send your LinkedIn profile or portfolio along with a quick note outlining:

    1. One recent media placement or communications win you engineered that you are proud of.
    2. The core narrative hook you would test first to tell a youth education story that cuts through the noise.
