    After School programs run two days per week, two hours per day. We'd love it if you would commit to one day per week!

    Description

    Support students grades K-5 by ensuring they are positively engaged and invested in their learning and enrichment activities. You'll support the program lead with your consistent presence, offering some homework support, helping with crafts or activities, and some light set up and/or clean up

    We're hoping you will:

    • Commit to a weekly volunteer shift
    • Support staff with enrichment activities
    • Be a positive example and role model to the young people in our program
    • Act as a resource and guide, help the youth learn how to find resources and information
    • Work closely with Eden staff

    Skills we're looking for:

    • Excellent reading and math skills
    • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is valued
    • Active listening and creative problem solving

    Time commitment:

    Monday 3:00 - 5:00

    Wednesday 3:00 - 5:00
