    We have morning, afternoon and dinner shifts Monday-Friday; afternoon and dinner shifts Saturday and Sunday. Each shift is 3.5 hours in duration. Volunteers can sign up for a permanent shift or sign up as a substitute and take shifts when available.

    Description

    House Volunteer

    JW House provides a "Home Away From Home" for families and individuals with loved ones in nearby hospitals. We offer a welcoming space for rest, meals, and support during challenging times.

    As a JW house Volunteer, you will play a key role in daily operations, including:

    • Welcoming and assisting guests with care and compassion
    • Conducting tours for new visitors
    • Supporting meals service (setup, serving, and cleanup)
    • Light housekeeping to maintain a safe, comfortable environment

    Requirements:

    • Weekly 3.5-hour shift with a minimum 6-month commitment
    • "On-call" shifts available for flexible scheduling
    • Must be 18+ years old (volunteers under 18 may participate with a parent/guardian)
