Role Overview
The Media, Communication & Content Volunteer will support Bahaal Foundation in sharing its work, impact, and stories with the wider community. Through engaging content and communication strategies, the volunteer will help raise awareness about spinal cord injury, disability inclusion, and the initiatives of Bahaal Foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and updating Bahaal Foundation’s social media platforms.
- Create and design content, including posters, short videos, infographics, and promotional materials.
- Write or edit blogs, captions, newsletters, and impact stories highlighting the work of the organisation.
- Document events, workshops, and programmes through photography or short video clips.
- Support the development of communication materials for campaigns, awareness programmes, and fundraising initiatives.
- Help maintain consistency in the organisation’s messaging and branding.
Qualifications and Skills
- Interest in social impact, disability inclusion, or nonprofit communication.
- Basic skills in social media management and digital communication.
- Ability to write clear and engaging content in English.
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe tools, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Basic photography or videography skills are an added advantage.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Commitment
- Flexible volunteer engagement (remote or hybrid, depending on activities).
- Approximately 4–8 hours per week or as agreed with the team.
