Volunteer TOEFL iBT Preparation Instructors

Organization: Victory Afghanistan

Location: Remote (volunteer from anywhere in the world)

Commitment: Approximately 1–2 hours per week for 16 weeks

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated TOEFL iBT Preparation Instructors to help Afghan students prepare for the TOEFL iBT examination and strengthen the English skills they need for higher education and international opportunities.

Many of our students are preparing for university admissions, scholarships, and other educational opportunities where an English proficiency test may be required. As a volunteer instructor, you will support students throughout their TOEFL iBT preparation and help them become more familiar with the exam and its requirements.

Responsibilities

• Teach online TOEFL iBT preparation classes remotely
• Help students develop skills in Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing
• Familiarize students with the TOEFL iBT format, question types, and test-taking strategies
• Provide practice activities, guidance, and constructive feedback
• Help students build confidence and improve their performance
• Create a positive and supportive online learning environment
• Coordinate with the Victory Afghanistan team as needed

Who We’re Looking For

Ideal volunteers will have:

• Strong English language proficiency
• Good knowledge of the TOEFL iBT examination format and requirements
• Previous TOEFL preparation, English teaching, or tutoring experience (preferred)
• communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
• Reliability and commitment throughout the semester
