    Description

Vendor booth volunteer — 2nd Annual 5K Run & Walk for Mom's Mental Health

    About this opportunity

My Good Brain (MGB) is a 501(c)(3) arts nonprofit dedicated to youth mental wellness through art and play. We are excited to have a vendor booth at the 2nd Annual 5K Run & Walk for Mom's Mental Health — and we need enthusiastic, community-minded volunteers to help us make it a great experience for families!

Our booth will be located right next to the kids' crafts table, putting us in the heart of the action. This is a wonderful chance to connect with San Diego families, share what MGB is all about, and make a real difference in a celebratory, high-energy community setting.

    What you'll do:

    1. Lead arts & crafts with kids and families: Facilitate simple, hands-on art activities at our booth — no art experience required, just enthusiasm!
    2. Share printed resource materials: Help distribute MGB resources on youth mental wellness, art-based coping tools, and family support.
    3. Sign up families for upcoming workshops: Chat with attendees about MGB's programs and help interested families register for workshops and events.
    4. Grow our newsletter community: Invite attendees to join the MGB mailing list so they stay connected to all our programs and news.

    What we're looking for:

    • Warm, friendly communicators who love connecting with people
    • Comfortable engaging with children and families in a busy outdoor event setting
    • Passion for arts, mental health, youth wellness, or community building (any or all!)
    • Reliable and able to commit to the full event shift (or a portion — let us know your availability!)
    • No prior experience with MGB required — we will brief you on everything!
