    Description

Volunteer Grant Writer / Funding Researcher — Media + Documentary

THEYtriarchy is seeking a volunteer Grant Writer / Funding Researcher to help support our media and documentary initiatives, including TORCH and future storytelling projects focused on innovation, equality, science, sustainability, and human thriving.

To date, we’ve secured smaller 4 and 5 figure cash grants alongside six figure in-kind support. We are now focused on building toward larger, more sustainable funding pathways capable of supporting full-time staff, long-term productions, and scalable impact initiatives.

We are currently in final-round consideration for several six and seven figure opportunities and are looking to rapidly leverage that momentum to secure additional foundation, philanthropic, and corporate giving support.

    We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience researching grants, fellowships, sponsors, or philanthropic funding

Can help identify aligned arts, documentary, journalism, humanities, and cultural funding opportunities

Is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing deadlines

Can support proposal drafting, applications, research, and supporting materials

    You might help with:

    • Documentary and media grants
    • Film labs, artist fellowships, and journalism funding
    • Public humanities and storytelling initiatives
    • Sponsorship research and philanthropic partnerships
    • Organizing grant calendars and application pipelines

This is ideal for someone interested in documentary, media, storytelling, journalism, philanthropy, arts funding, or impact campaigns.

Remote + flexible hours. Potential for future paid opportunities and producer credits.

    Apply with:

    • A short intro
    • Relevant experience
    • Grants, organizations, or projects you’ve worked with
