    Description

    Kids for Kids Fund Beneficiary Representation (MD)

    On Tuesday, April 14th from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, we will be joining at Wheaton High School as a beneficiary of the Kids for Kids fund to receive a monetary donation from Weller Road Elementary School! This event will be an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to the local community while sharing our gratitude as the benefitting organization. We are looking to have 1 volunteer to join us at this event as our Ayuda Ambassador to stand in as our representative as well as speak briefly to the crowd (talking points will be provided)

    Responsible to: Our Volunteer Manager, Connor Paul, as well as our Development Manager, Alix McAtee

    # of Volunteers Requesting: We are looking for 1 volunteer to join us and represent us this evening. The specific dates and capacity still available is noted in the sign ups below.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serving as an Ayuda representative at the Kids for Kids Funds recognition event
    • Speaking to the audience about our work upon acknowledgement of award (5 min max)
    • Connecting with passerby's to speak about the services we provide as an organization

    Qualifications:

    • Volunteers joining will need to be personable, outgoing, and engaging with strong public speaking skills and an ability to connect with individuals from any background.
    • Lead volunteer should be comfortable joining as an Ayuda Ambassador and providing talking points without other staff present. Individual will be provided with talking points in advance of the event
