Music at the Bedside Volunteer – VNS Health Hospice

Do you have a passion for music and a desire to bring comfort to others? VNS Health Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteer musicians and singers to provide live music experiences for hospice patients in facilities and private homes throughout New York City's five boroughs.

Music can offer comfort, reduce anxiety, evoke meaningful memories, and create moments of connection for patients and their loved ones. As a Music at the Bedside Volunteer, you will use your musical talents to enhance the quality of life of individuals receiving hospice care.

Time Commitment:

• Flexible scheduling based on volunteer availability and patient needs.
• We ask volunteers to commit to at least one visit per week.

Service Area:

Opportunities are available throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island in both healthcare facilities and private homes.

Training and Support:

All volunteers receive comprehensive hospice volunteer training, ongoing support from the Volunteer Services team, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through the power of music.
