Help us bring an evening of trees, creativity, and community to life!

Earth Rights Institute is seeking five friendly, dependable volunteers for the launch of A Forest of Possibilities ~ Email a Tree LA, a campaign to cool our communities, connect our neighborhoods, and put nature at the heart of how we live and design Los Angeles.

The evening will feature tree dance, sound healing, poetry, storytelling, inspiring talks, and local partner tables. Help make everyone feel welcome while supporting a greener, more connected city.

How You Can Help

• Set up tables, signs, and event materials.
• Welcome guests and assist with registration at the door.
• Support information and activity tables.
• Help guests learn about the campaign and sign up to get involved.
• Assist with cleanup and packing after the event.

Who Should Apply

High school and college students, tree lovers, and anyone who enjoys helping at community events are welcome! No previous event experience is needed. We’ll provide guidance and assign roles together. We’re looking for volunteers who are reliable, welcoming, and comfortable working as part of a team.

Time Commitment

Volunteers start at 4:30 PM and finish by 10:00 PM at the latest, including setup, event support, and cleanup. Please let us know if you’re available for the full shift or only part of the evening.

Community Service and Climate Action Credits

Earn community service hours while taking action on climate change! Earth Rights Institute can verify completed volunteer hours and provide documentation for school community service or climate action credits, subject to your school’s approval. Students should confirm their school’s requirements in advance.
