Do you want to support hospice patients, but are unsure if you are ready to provide in-home support?
Tuck-In Call Volunteer might be what you are looking for!
Tuck-in Call Volunteers provide support to hospice patients and staff by conducting phone calls to patients/families to assure that they have the necessary supplies, medications, and support that they might need. Gather information and be a liaison between staff and patient. Tuck- in calls can be completed any time of the day and are completed in the office to ensure patient confidentiality. When a patient need is identified, the volunteer will relay that need directly to the nurse, care manager, or volunteer coordinator.
Tuck-in calls are essential in ensuring patients and families feel supported and heard.
